Bringing the Super Bowl 2024 Logo to Life in LED Neon

Bringing the Super Bowl 2024 Logo to Life in LED Neon

When we were asked to create a neon version of the Super Bowl 2024 logo, we knew this would be one of the most exciting and challenging projects we’d ever taken on. The Super Bowl logo is a global icon, and turning it into LED neon required precision, creativity, and a deep respect for its design.

The Super Bowl Logo: LED Neon for a Global Icon

When CBS reached out to us about creating the Super Bowl 2024 logo in neon, we were blown away. The Super Bowl logo is instantly recognizable worldwide, and we couldn’t wait to translate its iconic design into vibrant neon.

Why We Chose LED Neon

The Super Bowl logo deserved a treatment that was as bold and durable as the event itself. LED neon was the perfect choice:

  • Durability: Perfect for the high-energy vibe of the Super Bowl.
  • Vibrancy: Its bright, bold colors mirrored the dynamic nature of the event.
  • Precision: LED neon allowed us to honor every curve and line of the original design.

The Creative Process

  1. Translating the Design:
Starting with the logo design that CBS provided to us, our job was to then “neonify” it. We carefully mapped out every line, discussed material options for how to translate the graphic elements, ensuring the final piece captured the spirit of the original design.

  2. Crafting the Neon:
Bringing the logo to life in LED neon was a challenge we welcomed with open arms. The bold colors had to be tested against the detailed graphics which required careful attention to make sure they radiated the energy of the event.

  3. Lighting It Up:
Seeing the finished logo illuminated for the first time was an incredible moment. It was massive, vibrant, and everything we imagined it could be.

The Big Stage

The LED neon Super Bowl logo was featured across the superbowl promotional materials and on-screen during their coverage. Watching it shine on such a massive platform was a surreal experience for us!
