Our rainbow X for SBX Boxing in New York and our "My Best Life" neon on a fringe wall for Create & Cultivate were both made to be photographed.
Give people a reason to take the photo
The signs that get shared are the ones people want to stand next to: a phrase they relate to, a joke, your logo done in a fun way, or a word that fits the moment. Think about what your customer would want in their own feed.
Put it at selfie height
Hang it where someone can stand in front of it and still be in the frame, with room for a friend. The end of a hallway or a wall near the entrance both work well.
Light the room around it
Neon looks best when the room is a little dim. Bright overhead lights wash it out. Avoid flash, and try a few angles.
Make it easy to tag you
Put your handle on a small sign nearby, or work it into the piece.
Questions businesses ask us
Should it be my logo or a phrase?
Both work. A logo builds recognition, and a phrase gets more people posing. Some businesses do one of each.
Glass or LED for a busy space?
LED is tougher and handles a busy space well. Glass has a warmer glow, and it's best mounted somewhere people can't bump it.
Can you design the phrase with us?
Yes. Our designers help with wording, fonts and colors as part of the process.
